Graduate Student Council

For all graduate students at CWRU

The Verhosek Fund, or V fund, honors Assistant Dean Edward Verhosek, who retired in 1997. This fund provides a vehicle for graduate students to be helped by graduate students, and thus provide a salient means for the Graduate Student Council to provide a meaningful service to the graduate student body by providing funds for incidental costs incurred in thesis research that are otherwise usually left to be paid out of pocket by the graduate student. Part-time and full-time students in the School of Graduate Studies who have completed at least 12 credit hours are eligible to apply for travel funds towards a conference presentation (max $200) and for thesis/dissertation binding (max $50).

To find out more about the V fund and to apply, visit the School of Graduate Studies V-fund page.
